The DICE team offers consulting services assisting with defining, reviewing and researching technologies. The ability to reach out to technology resources can prepare a company for a more precise market offering.

A service request may include one or all of the following test scenarios:

  • Requirements Definition - The DICE team will work closely with the customer to define technology specific requirements.  The requirements document can then be used for the customer to develop internally or externally.

  • Technology Research and Assessment – A product can be assessed either within the DICE test environment or by research materials to determine the most appropriate target market (HPC or IT data centers). The resulting document will provide DICE recommendations for entering other markets.

  • Data Center / End User Impact – A product is explored to determine the implementation impacts for end users and data centers. The concluding document will outline possible impacts regarding hardware, software, personnel resources, licensing and support, training and professional services.  This service provides customers with valuable information to determine the total cost of operation of a product.

  • Development Resource – DICE offers the ability for companies to test beta and pre-released versions of their technologies within the test bed.  Utilizing multiple sites and high-speed networking connections, customers can take advantage of a magnitude of test scenarios before a product is released.
