April 14-15, 2010, the DICE Program will host its fifth annual DICE Alliance Conference at the historic Dearborn Inn in Dearborn, Michigan. DICE Alliance is a premier conference where the high performance computing (HPC) community – government, vendors and academia from all over the U.S. – meet to learn and network on current and emerging technologies in the area of data management.

DICE Releases Phase 2 of Power and Cooling Study

Avetec’s HPC Research Division, the Data Intensive Computing Environment, has released Phase 2 of its study Power and Cooling Solutions for Data Centers, which surveyed administrators representing more than 170 data centers and vendors worldwide and explored the status of testing and validation related to energy efficiency, along with data centers' and their vendors' expectations for emerging technologies.
